Back in February this year, I attended the Open Source Content Management Systems (OSCMS) Summit in Vancouver.

Vancouver is a cool city (I've been there a few times in the past) and love it there, and it was a great experience to meet so many Drupal developers. It was especially pleasing for me to see so many people in the room when the geographic capabilities of Drupal were being discussed.

I took a week off work not so long ago to spend a week in the sun with friends.

Limassol was our first port of call, until the hotel offered to upgrade us for free if we were willing to move to another seaside city - Larnaca.

This is Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man. Despite being the largest settlement on the island, it is not a city.

You can't see much detail on the Google Map here as their street data coverage does not extend to the Isle of Man. The coverage is much better over on the OpenStreetMap project, though there is still a long way to go.

Hello from Stuttgart, the current home of geodan.

I'm going to start building up some geographically enabled content in this site so that there is actually something to display when I install the KML and WFS modules here.
